Aruatachon

The Aluatachon Craft Workshop is located in Uribia in the Wayuu indigenous community known by this name. Carmen Palmar, recognized as Master of Masters of the Wayuu Art by Artesanías de Colombia and her community takes the reins of this workshop, which under her leadership has been present in several fairs nationwide and its products have been reached in different countries. For her and her community: “A Wayuu woman always expresses her experience in each fabric she makes, that is, if she is happy, it will be a very colorful product, but if she is sad, it will be the opposite. Every Wayuu Bag is a unique and unrepeatable piece, is what each person who makes it is feeling, it is what she thinks, does, lives and enjoys “
