The work of the wayuu craft weaving for the hat that identifies this indigenous culture, was from its inception an activity only developed by men and children who learn from their elders the skill of weaving this element of wayuu clothing. The passage of time has allowed women of this aboriginal culture to also learn to weave hats. This store for the sale of wayuu hats groups twenty eight weavers of mawisa (fiber with which the wayuu hat is made) who from their community called Mashuruliatu in the Alta Guajira in Colombia decided to join under the name of Hazel, to produce and sell the hat characteristic wayuu that carries the pütchipü, who comes to be like a lawyer within the customs of this indigenous town.
